Multimedia Performance Can You Feel My Diasporic Love?
30. September 2025

Performing my multimedia work Can You Feel My Diasporic Love? at Unit 1 Gallery | Workshop was a moment of deep resonance. Created in collaboration with pianist Julien Lee (@julienleeeeee ), it weaves personal stories and societal reflection through sound, visuals, light, and touch, to explore migration and love in landscapes where technology and politics keep reshaping what belonging means.
In times of digital networks and rising global fascist trends, art as resistance against cultural hegemony and repression feels more urgent than ever. This performance asks: how can love, diaspora, and the body remain subversive forces.
It has been a great pleasure to work with visionary and dedicated curator Daisy Wang (@daisydiziiii ) and the Being Sync platform @beingsync , hosted by Unit 1 Gallery | Workshop @unit1galleryworkshop under the care of its utopian yet grounded gallerist and amazing artist Stacie McCormick (@stacie_art ).
The exhibition Wandering Till the Wind Whispers My Land runs until 18 October, tracing diasporic memory, displacement, and sensory thresholds. It will be followed by curator’s series of guided tour and further events. Please stay tuned for updates.
